The Zen armchair draws inspiration from the tranquil Japanese
Zen gardens. These gardens originated as spaces for meditation in Zen temples during medieval Japan. Today, Zen gardens are not only found in temples but also in private meditative backyard spaces and work environments, symbolising mindfulness and tranquility.
Embracing the lifestyle of many individuals who value mindfulness,
slowing down, and conscious living, the Zen armchair incorporates
a clear and easily understandable reference to its future users.
Its design is simple yet impactful, with the seating part resembling
a soft upholstered stone.
The back of the chair is inspired by the linear patterns found in Zen gardens, where energy effortlessly flows around the carefully
placed stones.
